Contemporary Sligo Creek Town Home in Silver Spring
February 13, 2010
Definitely not! Someone was camping out in the house, which was worse than it being vacant. And, it has NO BATHROOM on the main level!
The tenant left and we updated the dining area chandelier and just Staged it. Take a look.
Did I mention the town home didn’t even have a bathroom on the main level? After Staging, it didn’t matter. Located inside the Capital Beltway a block off lush Sligo Creek Parkway and PRETTY, it SOLD… sold within one week of Staging! It had previously been months on the market unstaged and unsold. The inconvenience of the lacking bathroom suddenly overlooked.

Cute Hyattsville Renovated Craftsman
February 10, 2010
Think only high-end, luxury real estate benefits from Home Staging? Think again.
This delightful under $300,000 Craftsman home in Hyattsville’s Arts District just up the road from Maryland University, College Park, sat for 90 days vacant.
“The Realtor took the listing, plopped down a sign, and never even came back,” the equally delightful lady renovator/investor exclaimed. Doubtful money spent on staging would make any difference, she decided to give it a try anyway.
“Boy, was I glad I did,” she exclaimed a week later full-price contract in hand! “Staging paid back many times over. I mean the grief, the stress, the finances – so many ways.”
I love it when this happens as it often does for Show Smart Home Staging projects around the area. Here are some pictures worth their weight, and the Virtual Tour follows. We love to get your comments, so please do leave one.

Show Smart Home Staging Gets Georgetown Condo Sold After Months on Market
I love these early 1900′s buildings in Washington, DC, especially in Georgetown. The condos have such wonderful high ceilings, lovely sun-filled windows and large rooms with heavy woodwork. This owner-occupied condo had all of that, and after we finished staging it, it showed like the gracious home it was built to be. After months on the market unstaged, we are happy to say it sold within the week after we staged it. We love what we do, and we love it helps sell homes! We also love your comments. Please feel free to leave yours below. Thanks.
We always shoot and produce a Complimentary Virtual Tour for our Home Staging projects.
